You have landed in a good place.
As a mum of 4 and a qualified Early Childhood and Primary teacher, this space has not been curated for the socials but created with you in mind. The posts of this blog contain real-life scenarios and resources that have been tried and tested in our home… all to help you find a starting point to assist you in your parenting journey.
No one can prepare you for what parenting multiple kids will look like… and really, would you want to fully know?
We had the incredible, life-altering experience of having four kids in four years.
Through trial and error, we’ve worked out some creative life hacks, tips and tricks. These have kept us sane and able to enjoy this short window of raising little people who are in no way limited by their thinking, passion for life or want to explore.
With our families far away, I have been fortunate to parent within a supportive community of friends. One in particular, gave up her time weekly in the early days of my Irish Twins period (baby no’s 3 & 4), just to help get me through. I am so grateful.
I am absolutely human. I cry, I feel overwhelmed at times, but I also laugh and smile often.
We don’t exist in a parenting vacuum, so many of the things I have gleaned from those around me are written in the posts of this blog.
My hope is that you will find something here to lighten the load a little – whether it be a hospital packing list or tips for getting multiple little people in and out of the car… or even what car would suit a family with four small kids in car seats.
It’s ever-expanding, just as life tends to be.
Thanks for visiting and happy reading!
